The effort to re-bait the sites where oral rabies vaccines have been distributed across the Cape is beginning today.
Spots in Bourne, Sandwich, Falmouth, Barnstable and several other areas were baited last year and again back in the spring to help stave off rabies in local wildlife.
Aerial operations will begin today and last three to four days, weather permitting.
Ground operations will continue through Friday.
