A 45-year-old Sandwich woman will be answering OUI-liquor charges and negligent operation of a vehicle after hitting a Barnstable cop.
The officer was directing traffic after a Grateful Dead tribute band's concert at the Cape Cod Melody Tent shortly after 10:30 Wednesday night when an SUV clipped his knee and ripped a flashlight from his hands and drove off.
Other officers on the detail quickly caught up to Lisa Limberakis on Scudder Avenue and later took her into custody.
The officer meantime declined medical attention.
