Barnstable County Ready To Go Paperless

Barnstable County is making the transition from paper to electronic documents.

The county will digitize approximately three and quarter million pages of county records, which date as far back as the late 18th century.

These include financial and budget documents, meeting minutes and other paperwork.

More than one-point-one million dollars in ARPA funds has been approved for the project; county officials are awaiting contractor’s bids, which are expected late next week.
