The West Nile Virus is showing up in mosquitoes in the Mid Cape after several positive tests on the Upper Cape.
State health officials say the virus was detected in two samples collected two weeks ago in Dennis, adding that they came from a mosquito species that likes to dine on humans, especially after dark.
Falmouth just recently upped its risk level for West Nile Virus to moderate after recording positive samples in recent weeks.
