A mosquito sample in Falmouth has tested positive for the West Nile Virus.
The virus was confirmed in a sample collected on July 30 in the southwest part of the town.
The last time there was a positive sample in Falmouth was in 2021.
The Falmouth Health Department is working closely with the state and the mosquito control project.
