A 25-year-old man is charged in a scam that targeted an Osterville resident.
Khaseem Allah of Albany, New York was allegedly behind a business e-mail compromise that instructed the victim to redirect a 100-thousand-dollar payment in November.
A Barnstable detective was able to trace the transaction to Allah and he was indicted by the Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office.
Allah made a court appearance Thursday and was ordered held on 50-thousand-dollars bail.
