CC Transit Gets Millions For New Hybrid Buses

Federal money is on the way to help the Cape get a little greener.

The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority is set to receive a federal grant of more than 14-million-bucks to buy 13 hybrid buses.

The low-emission buses will replace the old diesel models still on the streets.

Some of the new hybrids are expected to be running routes next year.
