Barnstable Scores Millions In Loans For Environmental Projects

The Massachusetts Clean Water Trust has approved 238 million dollars for low interest loans and grants and Cape projects will be funded because of it.

Barnstable is getting some four million dollars for two projects.

Nearly 3 point 3 million dollars in loans goes to wastewater treatment plant improvements.

Another 930 thousand dollars in loans going to the Route 28 Sewer Expansion project.

As part of the same announcement comes word that the Centerville, Osterville, Marston Mills Fire District is getting a 45-thousand-dollar grant that will go to improve Cyber Security and Communications within the district.
