The Town of Barnstable has issued a water quality alert and closed Keyes Beach due to high levels of Enterococci bacteria.
The Town says re-samples were collected Tuesday and the results should be available later today.
In addition, a Pet Advisory is posted at Lovells Pond, Cotuit due to confirmed cyanobacteria in the scum sample.
This water will be sampled and retested next week.
