A young child is alive thanks to the efforts of a Good Samartitan in Falmouth Sunday.
Falmouth Fire officials say they responded to a report of a possible drowning at the Grews Pond.
The child was unresponsive when they arrived.
Fire officials say a ten year old girl spotted the child and pulled the boy to safety.
The boy was not breathing but after three minutes of CPR the child began breathing on his own.
Officials say there were no lifeguards on site.
More information is expected later today.
