Towns on the Cape will hold Memorial Day observances and events through the weekend.
In Bourne, Operation Flags for Vets will place flags at Massachusetts National Cemetery on Saturday.
A Memorial Day observance will be held on Sunday afternoon.
In Hyannis, the annual Troops in the Spotlight ceremony will take place Sunday behind the Cape Cod Mall.
The Town of Orleans' Memorial Day event is set for Monday. Members of the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines will be honored during a brief service which will be followed by a walk to Veterans Memorial Park where the Army, Air Force and all military personnel will be honored.
