A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Thursday on the new Falmouth Community Veterans Center.
The Select Board voted in August of 2021 to award the lease of the former Senior Center on Dillingham Avenue to Joe Q Veteran Coffee Break and everything at the new facility was done by volunteers.
There will be an area where Veterans Affairs representatives can meet with residents and MassHire will be able to help vets learn about educational and career opportunities.
There's also a game room, kitchen class space and a computer room.
