A Provincetown man has been arrested on federal charges of possession of child porn.
The Massachusetts US Attorney says Lawrence Pagnoni allegedly had several thousand images and video files in his possession.
In his initial Federal Court appearance, US Magistrate Jennifer Boal released him on conditions confined to his home with electronic monitoring.
The 63-year-old Pagnoni is accused of sending files to another person.
If he is convicted – Pagnoni faces a mandatory prison term of 5 to 20 years in prison and a 250 thousand dollar fine.
