An accident in Wellfleet Saturday evening sent a local man to the hospital.
Police say the 57-year-old motorist was traveling in the 200 block of Main Street at around 7:30 pm when he struck a utility pole.
The unnamed driver was taken to Cape Cod Hospital, his injuries are not known.
The crash caused wires to be downed, and a section of the town was without power for a time.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
