Officials at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are reporting a North Atlantic Right Whale –entangled in ropes was spotted about 50 miles south of Block Island.
Officials- in a statement say that they are responding to help the whale as weather conditions allow.
Right now, there are believed to be 360 Right Whales left in the world and they are considered an endangered species.
