Several trips on the Steamship Authority schedule were canceled Thursday after the passenger ferry Woods Hole struck a buoy.

The ferry was navigating out of Woods Hole harbor just after its 11:05 a.m. departure when the collision took place.

A spokesperson says the vessel was able to return to port, and there were no injuries.

The Woods Hole was able to resume its schedule after 2 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Martha's Vineyard called off its 9:45 p.m. from Woods Hole due to repairs to a stern door.
