The Riverview School in East Sandwich is now the proud owner of the Twin Brooks Golf Course.
The sale of the 40-acre property in Hyannis for just under ten-million-bucks was recorded on Wednesday.
The private school for students eleven to 22 with various learning challenges plans to use the site to expand its offerings to folks older than 22.
The purchase also halts all the legal wrangling over a developer's proposal to build 13 three-story apartment buildings on the land that drew strong opposition from local residents.
