The Governor's Council is expected Wednesday to consider Governor Maura Healey's proposal to pardon those with simple marijuana possession convictions.
The council scheduled an informational hearing for Wednesday.
It is unclear whether the Council will just hear testimony or vote.
Governor Healey announced the plan last month, saying it would erase hundreds-of-thousands of convictions.
