Police in Wellfleet say that a 2 year old child was bitten by a pit bull and Med Flighted to a Boston Hospital with what officials say were serious but non life threatening injuries.
Police were called to a home on East Hill Road Sunday.
The child was bitten by a pit bull mix.
There is no word on the condition of the child this morning.
Police do say they are investigating but it appears that everyone involved in the incident knows each other.
