With summer right around the corner, word comes from a squad of personal injury lawyers that Nantucket may not be the best choice for beachgoers to take a dip in the ocean.
A new study by Connecticut Trial Firm ranks Nantucket County as the nation's fourth most likely spot for water rescues.
The island averages about one rescue for every one-thousand beachgoers and has recorded well over 600 rescues in the past decade.
Only Bay County, Florida, Ventura County, California and Clackamas County, Oregon have higher rescue figures than Nantucket.
