Chatham Reports Steady Growth For Renovations

Renovations and additions to existing properties have held steady in Chatham.

Figures released by the town showed that permits for these activities in 2023 remained nearly the same as the previous year.

Fewer single-family homes and condominiums sold last year as well. Town Manager Jill Goldsmith noted that this trend extends not only to the waterfront and desired nearby properties but the full community.

This further means a strong housing market.
