Chatham Selectboard Member Won't Run For State Office

A member of Chatham's Select Board announced she would not seek the Fourth Barnstable District seat in the state House.

Shareen Davis would only say her reasons for not running were personal.

Representative Sarah Peake, a Democrat from Provincetown said in January she would not seek a tenth term in office.

So far only Orleans Select Board Chair Michael Herman has indicated he will take out nomination papers to replace Peake.
