A Mashpee contractor will be answering criminal charges for allegedly threatening another contractor with a pepper ball gun.
It happened late Wednesday morning in West Yarmouth, where police say 47-year-old Christopher Soares got into a dispute with a man working on a separate job at the home, pulled the weapon from his waistband and pointed it toward the guy.
Cops caught up to Soares as he was leaving, found the gun in his truck and discovered that it was made to fire round projectiles filled with hot pepper oil.
