Markey, Warren Support Failed Israel Resolution

Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey are among the eleven U.S. senators who voted in favor of a resolution on Israel proposed by Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

The resolution sought to link U.S. aid to Israel to the country not committing human rights violations in Gaza.

Markey says Israel has every right to defend itself against Hamas, but it must stop the indiscriminate bombing of Gaza and the killing of innocent women and children.

Over 70 senators voted to table the bill.
