A new report details hiring figures for the Vineyard Wind project.
The UMass-Dartmouth / Springline Research Group document is the second annual report-it notes that 757 Massachusetts-based union workers have been hired.
There are also 986 non-union workers, almost three-quarters of whom live in the Bay State. Springline officials said more local hirings are expected as the project moves forward.
Vineyard Wind envisions 90 on-Island jobs, with about half of these living on Martha's Vineyard.
The operations phase of the project is set to begin spring or early summer of this year.
