A transit bus accident left its driver and a passenger injured in Hyannis on Tuesday.
The crash occurred just after 10 a.m. on Route 28 near the Cape Cod Mall. Authorities say the Cape Cod Regional Transit bus was traveling eastbound when it went off the road and struck two utility police and a building.
A gas meter was damaged; the two injured were taken to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver is believed to have suffered a medical emergency, which led to the crash.
