The December storm that is sweeping across southern New England is expected to bring heavy rain, wind gusts, and some flooding.
A Flood Watch remains in effect most of the state.
A Wind Advisory is also up for much of the day.
While temperatures will remain in the 50s, the rain will be heavy at times with one to four inches expected in some sections, which will cause some flooding of some streams and local streets.
National Grid and Eversource have announced they are prepared to handle power outages across the region.
