The Healey administration plans to expand financial aid for students at the state's public colleges and universities.
It was announced today that another 60-million-dollars will be used to help students cover their costs.
State officials estimate the expanded program will help about 25 thousand students with tuition and fees.
The program does not include room and board.
The governor says low-income students could pay nothing for tuition, while some moderate-income students could see as much as a 50% reduction off of tuition.
