New Chatham Senior Center On Hold

The Chatham Select Board is hitting the pause button on a new senior center at 1610 Main Street.

There have been three town meetings in two years asking voters to consider the new council on aging building at that specific address.

The Cape Cod Chronicle reports leaders agreed at a meeting on Tuesday the issue had become divisive, and that they are willing to explore future options at a different site.
