The State Fire Marshal is looking into what caused a two-alarm fire this morning that heavily damaged a Wellfleet Hotel.
Firefighters were called out to the old Inn at Duck Creek, now known as the Copper Swan, shortly before 6:30.
Responding crews from several area towns were greeted by heavy smoke and flames from the tavern portion.
Several ambulances showed up at the scene in case any guests or staff suffered burn or smoke inhalation injuries, but it doesn't appear like anyone was seriously hurt.
