Marine mammal rescue teams are responding to humpback whale entanglements in Massachusetts waters.
The Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown was able to rescue a mother whale on Saturday off Cape Ann.
They removed one-hundred-fifty feet of rope.
Another entanglement involving a juvenile, which was first spotted in June, is ongoing at the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.
The Center for Coastal Studies is involved in that response as well, along with the International Fund for Animal Welfare.
