Former Bourne Health Board Chairman Sues Town

A former elected official in Bourne is filing a lawsuit against several current government members.

The Cape Cod Times reports Stanley Andrews, who used to serve as the board of health chairman, filed the suit in Barnstable Superior Court on July 31st.

Andrews alleges he was secretly recorded during a meeting with Bourne town administrator Marlene McCollem at the town hall in January.

Andrews is demanding a jury trial, and he is seeking financial compensation.
