No Charges For Woman Who Left Child In Hot Car

Charges are being dropped against a woman who left a child in a hot car on Cape Cod.

The Enterprise reports the 45-year-old woman from Brookline had the charges dismissed in favor of a magistrate's hearing in connection to the June 30th incident at the Falmouth Mall.

The woman went into a store with the full sun bearing down on the vehicle, which was not running, with an internal temperature that had risen to 78 degrees by the time police broke the window and took the toddler out.
