The Vineyard Gazette reports about 40 people slept overnight at Martha's Vineyard Airport this weekend after a pair of flights were canceled.
The airplanes to Washington, D.C. and New York were grounded on Saturday because of severe weather, which left those passengers stranded.
Officials set up a shelter at the West Tisbury airport that was broken down Sunday morning when the flights were re-booked.
