The search of Edgartown Great Pond for a missing paddleboarder is over.
The body of the 44-year-old man was found in about eight feet of water late this morning.
The victim was identified as Tafari Campbell, a Virginia resident who was a former employee of then President Barack Obama. Neither the former President nor First Lady were in Edgartown at the time. The Obamas own property there.
Search Crews were initially brought in Sunday night for initial reports of a man who was in the water and was having difficulty.
Helicopters, dive teams and side-scan sonar have all been employed in the search effort so far.
The investigation is continuing.
