State Officials announcing concrete work on the Sagamore Bridge south abutment will begin on Monday.
A spokesman for the US Army Corps of Engineers says despite the project, the project will not result in any lane restrictions for vehicles using the bridge.
The work will be done at night to minimize traffic impacts on Sandwich Road.
From time-to-time traffic will be restricted to one lane at times.
Work is scheduled to occur Sunday through Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and is expected to last approximately six weeks.
