Wellfleet Police continue to investigate a serious traffic accident from the overnight.
Police say right around 8:30PM they were called to Route 6 near Joshua Lane where they found a man lying in the street suffering from a head injury.
Police say the man was involved in a traffic accident and are identifying him only as a 59 year old Connecticut man.
The victim was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with serious injuries.
Police are asking the public if they have any information about the accident to call them.
We are expecting more information later today.
