National Park Service Seeks Long Term Leases On Historic Dunes

The National Park Service is seeking public interest in long-term leases of a group of historic dune shacks on the Cape Cod National Seashore.

The Park Service is giving tours to prospective bidders ahead of a July 3rd application deadline.

Families that have cared for some of the shacks in Provincetown and Truro for generations held a protest on Wednesday.

While some of the families have held long-term leases, others are year-to-year and they are fighting to continue their maintenance of the properties.
