Brian Walshe of Cohasset was arraigned on Thursday for the alleged murder of his wife Ana Walshe.
Prosecutors in Norfolk Superior Court alleged Brian Walshe hired a private investigator because he thought his wife was having an affair days before she disappeared.
Brian Walshe was indicted by a grand jury for first-degree murder and improper conveyance of a human body.
Ana Walshe was last seen on New Year's Day.
