Truro Town Meeting Gives Preliminary Approval To Override

Truro voters approved an override at town meeting on Tuesday for additional spending on emergency medical services.

The amount of six-hundred-thousand dollars was requested to hire four full-time firefighter paramedics and an administrator to compensate for the loss of the Lower Cape Ambulance Association this summer.

The override must receive further approval at the annual town election on May 9th.
