First responders will be conducting active shooter response training all day today at Wellfleet Elementary.
Police Chief Michael Hurley and Fire Chief Rich Pauley are teaming up for the drill, which will be based on practices set the FBI and other major police agencies.
They'll be working on the best ways to keep the public and themselves safe during a hostile invasion.
Expect to see plenty of emergency vehicles staged outside the school between 9:00 and 4:00.
