There is a new move on Beacon Hill to explore a four day work week, and it is being lead by a Cape Cod State Rep Dylan Fernandes is teaming up with Rep Josh Cutler in pushing House Bill 4267.
It calls for a pilot program, providing tax credits and incentives for companies that try a four day workweek -without cutting pay.
Fernandes says that Americans are overworked and over stressed. The four day workweek has been used in parts of Europe with success.
And the state reps say its worth a try here.
No dates for debate on the measure have been announced.
