Falmouth Town Meeting Over- No Ban On Plastic Utensils

The Falmouth Enterprise reports that Falmouth wrapped up Town Meeing last night; residents considered 43 Warrant Articles during the two-night session.

An Article to ban plastic utensils and takeout containers was struck down and replaced with a directive for the town to work on regulations that would result in the eventual elimination of plastics used in to go orders.

In other business, voters approved spending nine point five million for wastewater treatment upgrades and also approved supporting a change to the state flag.
