The Falmouth Police Department and State Police are investigating an armed bank robbery. It happened on Saturday morning at the Rockland Trust Bank on Davis Straits.
The suspect allegedly brandished a handgun and claimed to have a bomb.
Police say he was handed an undisclosed amount of money, stole a car from a customer and fled the scene.
The vehicle was later found abandoned on Teaticket Highway.
Falmouth Police say there were no injuries during the incident.
