Steamship Authority Struggles Before Summer Season Starts

As the busy summer travel season kicks off this weekend, the Steamship Authority has been hampered the past month by staffing issues, a downed website and reservation system, and numerous repairs to its aging ferries.

Lack of staffing delayed trips by 75 minutes on Monday.

Tuesday, it shut down the Oak Bluffs terminal.
