Plans for a town wide fiber-optic network in Falmouth are being revealed.
The non-profit organization Falmouthnet Inc. said at a public meeting last week the project could cost up to $59-million.
The Municipal Light Board that will be elected in November will determine funding for the project.
Falmouthnet said it anticipates to receive some funding from private donors and government grants.
The cost is dependent on the type of technology that is chosen to build the network.
