Investigators are releasing more details about a mix-up at a Dennis gas station last month.
Boston 25 News reports that Barnstable Weights and Measures confirmed a complete mix-up of diesel fuel and premium gas at the pumps.
It happened on April 22nd at Cape Cod Farms gas station on Main Street.
Brown Bear Transportation mistakenly pumped hundreds of gallons of premium gas into the underground diesel tank and diesel fuel into the premium gas tank.
The mistake has cost some drivers thousands of dollars in repairs.
Brown Bear Transportation is working with the gas station to contact those affected by the mix-up so they can pay for damages.
