Falmouth Man Sentenced In 2018 Shooting

The Falmouth man who shot two police officers in June of 2018 has been found guilty of several offenses after a bench trial in Barnstable Superior Court that concluded last week.

34 year old Malik Koval was sentenced to 9-11 years in prison followed by five years of probation by Judge Mark Gildea.

Koval shot at the officers as they responded to complaints about Koval’s behavior.

Both officers recovered.
