Steamship Authority Employees Fired Over Vaccine Mandate

A group of Steamship Authority workers have been fired for not following the ferry line's Covid-19 vaccination mandate.

14 total employees have been let go.

Some of them were involved in a federal lawsuit against the SSA over the mandate.

A spokesperson for the Steamship Authority says currently, all of its workers are vaccinated or have been granted an exemption.

There were fewer than ten of those issued.
