There are several significant motor vehicle incidents to report from the last two days on the Cape and Islands.
Authorities say a child was hit by a car on Route 6 in Bourne and was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence.
At least one person went to Cape Cod Hospital for a two-vehicle crash that required extrication on Route 137 in Brewster.
Both of those happened on Tuesday afternoon.
A bicyclist reportedly suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries from an accident on Nantucket Monday morning.
